RRB NTPC Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of multiple stages:
- 1st Stage CBT (Computer-Based Test): This screening test will shortlist candidates for the next round.
- 2nd Stage CBT: The final written test for candidates who qualify in the 1st stage CBT.

RRB NTPC Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern
The RRB NTPC 12th Level Exam follows a structured pattern to assess candidates’ knowledge and aptitude. The examination consists of two stages:
- Subjects & Questions: General Awareness (40 Questions), Mathematics (30 Questions), and General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 Questions)
- Total Questions: 100 (Multiple-Choice Questions)
- Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with a scribe)
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer & 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer
- Subjects & Questions: General Awareness (50 Questions), Mathematics (35 Questions), and General Intelligence and Reasoning (35 Questions)
- Total Questions: 120 (Multiple-Choice Questions)
- Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with a scribe)
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer
Candidates who qualify for the CBT exams and are required to take the Computer-Based Typing Skill Test must ensure they meet the required typing speed as per the job specifications.
RRB NTPC Hall Ticket Details
The RRB NTPC Hall Ticket will be released online only on the official website of the respective RRB zones. No physical admit card will be sent by post. To download the admit card, candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth/password. The admit card will contain important details such as:

- Roll Number & Registration Number
- Exam Date & Time
- Exam Venue & Address
- Important Instructions for Exam Day
