JKBOSE Revises Class 10 Exam Schedule After First Paper Held
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a revised date sheet for the ongoing Class 10 annual regular examinations, just hours after students appeared for their first paper on Monday.
According to the original schedule, the exams began on November 3 with the Mathematics paper and were to continue till November 27. However, following the commencement of the first paper, JKBOSE released a new date sheet rescheduling several subjects.
As per the revised schedule, Social Science will now be held on November 26, Science on November 13, English on November 20, and Urdu/Hindi on November 17. The remaining papers, including Vocational Subjects, and optional subjects, have also been slightly adjusted to new dates.
Some papers, including Computer Science and Home Science will be held as per the earlier schedule. The timing of the papers will also remain unchanged.
The exams are being held across the 994 examination centres established for nearly 95,000 students in Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu Division.
The Board has advised students to adhere to the new schedule and stay updated through official notifications to avoid confusion.
