All exams to be held on time in J&K: Minister Sakina Itoo
Speaking to reporters, Minister Itoo said that students’ studies got badly affected, initially due to a war like situation, heatwave and then a flood-like situation in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar, Sept 18: Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Thursday said that all exams will be held on time and per academic calendar in Jammu and Kashmir. She also that government is seeking suggestion from all stakeholders over compensating the academic loss faced by students.
Speaking to reporters, Minister Itoo said that students’ studies got badly affected, initially due to a war like situation, heatwave and then a flood-like situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
She also said that some schools, in both the regions got affected and damaged by recent floods and natural calamities. “But as far as exams are concerned, I want to make it clear that all exams will be held on time,” Itoo said.
She added that the department is seeking suggestions from all stakeholders over compensating the academic loss faced by students this year due to various circumstances.

Syllabus should be reduced as we have started late our course. Although our syllabus is incomplet half phy and chemistry. So i request for the relaxation of syllabus for class 11th medical student.it will be your humbleness.

It is not fair…..we are not prepared….why only education system is affected all the time…
Kindly reduce syllabus or open choice in kashmir region also.We have not completed syllabus yet.also we have to memorize, practice and make practical.We can’t handle so much in less time

She should do something for the students who suffered from these tough situations, like she can gave a relief to students by relaxing the syllabus or by open choice examination,……. In my opinion.,open choice examination would be the most suitable method to students of class 10 , 11,12 ..
Mam please reduce the syllabus of class 10 or give us open choice in exam .thank you very much (in kashmir division )

Why are our schools demanding us extra fee…. Phle practicals ki botany zoology alg alg then practicals checking jb unse pucha jata hai ye kis baat k paise hai toh unka reply aata hua board walo ne notice bhja hai kaha hai wo notice dikhaye proof hume bht extra charges le rhe hai humse aur naahi koi receipt de rhe hai..
And agr wo practical checking k paise le rhe hai ye kesa govt school hai

Respected Madam,
I respectfully request you to consider reducing the 10th class syllabus or allowing open choice for exams. Our syllabus has not been fully completed, yet schools are conducting exams. The session started late and ended quickly, leaving us very little time to prepare.
We kindly urge you to either reduce the syllabus or give us an option to choose questions, so that students can perform better while the remaining syllabus is completed.
